The Onsted 7th Grade football team moved the ball well against the visitors from Ida, but could not find the endzone. Twice in the first half, the Wildcats moved into the redzone, but turned the ball over on downs. Even though the 7th grade FB team lost 0-26 they improved by leaps and bounds from last week, controlling the ball on offense 12 minutes in the first half. Good job boys!!!
8th grade started season off the a great win over Ida. Touchdowns were scored by FB Lincoln Lipinski and the combo of QB Broc Shoemaker finding HB Dayton Henegan for the other TD. A tremendous defensive effort by the whole Wildcat team led the way in the victory.
The Wildcats are in action next week, when they host the Hornets from Hillsdale Middle School on Wednesday, Sept. 20th. The start of the 7th grade game will begin at 5:00pm. Come out and join us.
