Boys/Girls V Bowling

Both boys and girls bowling started their seasons on Saturday at Brooklyn Lanes by hosting the 2017 Wildcats Blastoff Classic. On the boys side, Freshmen Evan Froelich led the way finishing 3rd during the qualifying rounds and finished 5th overall out of 40 bowlers. Evan's high score on the day was a 210. Also bowling for the Cats were junior Philip Starr who finished 22nd (190 high score), junior Benjamin Grove who finished 28th (172), freshmen Kyle Bayes who finished 32nd (139) and junior Benjamin Miller who finished 37th (139).
On the girls side, junior Serena Nichols led the charge for the Wildcats, finishing 2nd in the qualifying round before losing in the semi-finals, to finish 3rd overall on the day. Also having strong days for the Cats were junior Cassidy Kelley (10th overall), sophomore Hannah Hadden (14th), senior Claire Welch (15th) and junior Alicia Czinski (31st).
The Wildcat Bowlers will return back to Brooklyn Lanes on Tuesday, December 5th to take on Columbia Central in the first LCAA meet of the year. Start time in 4:00pm.
