The JV football teams defense didn't allow a touchdown in route to a 42-8 victory of Madison. The defense was stifling as the Trojans totaled less than 40 yds of total offense. The defense even added to the scoreboard last night as freshmen Brady Hunt took an interception to the end zone for a pick 6.
On the offensive side, the offensive line did a great job and led the way in moving the line of scrimmage all night. The line was led by sophomore Parker Barnes, sophomore Luke Lewin, sophomore Dylan Stevens, and sophomore Dylan Hancock. Sophomore Tyler Hunt started the scoring for the Wildcats with TD run in the first quarter. However T Hunt's night was not not as he also caught a TD pass from freshmen Dylan Terryberry. Also scoring for the Wildcats wer sophomores Cooper Lake and Josh VanEtten.
The Wildcats are now 1-0-1 on the season. The Wildcats will travel to Clinton next week to take on the Redskins on Tuesday. September 7th. Game time is 6:00 pm.
