The 7th grade boys basketball team beat Dundee 19-9 to improve to 8-2 on the year. Bradlee VanBrunt led the offense with 11 points while Ethan Worden and Nick Sutka played strong defensive games for the Cats. Their last game of the season is Wednesday against Erie-Mason so come out and support your classmates.
The 8th Grade won a hard fought battle against a very big and motivated Dundee team on the road by 12 points. The high scorers were Lincoln Lipinski with 10 points, Dayton Henagan with 8 points, and Harrison Moore and Xander Ouellette both scoring 7 points. We got off to a very slow start in the 3rd quarter only scoring 4 points and down 3 points going into the 4th quarter. Our pressure and defense held Dundee scoreless in the 4th quarter. In the first half, Hunter Johncox scored 2 points off a great fake and drive to the basket and had 2 steals, Dawson Carney played aggressively and great defense as usual, Wesley Fisher hit a shot, got some rebounds, and played awesome defense, and Logan Klotz knocked down a couple mid range jumpers, dove on the floor, and played really hard the whole game.
